Arun Subramony

Arun H. Subramony is a transformational global business leader with over three decades of experience driving growth, scale, and strategic exits across Financial Services, Technology, Energy, Healthcare, and Consumer industries. Renowned for his ability to align vision with execution, Arun has led organizations through hyper- growth, turnarounds, and IPO readiness while delivering lasting value for shareholders, employees, and society.

Currently, Arun serves as Chairman and CEO of TimeX Capital, a NextGen investment bank pioneering the monetization of intellectual property assets as capital instruments. Under his leadership, TimeX secured over $1 billion in M&A and capital raise mandates within its first months of operation, redefining how founders and innovators access growth financing.

Previously, as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Advisor at SprintRay Inc., Arun engineered a Cayman HoldCo restructuring, led a successful Series D raise with Tier-1 investors, and integrated a strategic AI-driven acquisition. His leadership enabled IPO readiness while strengthening SprintRay’s market position through global expansion and innovative incentive structures.

Arun is also the Founder, Chairman, and former CEO/CFO of Empereal Energy & Services, where he executed more than 170 renewable energy and desalination projects, including the world’s first solar desalination plant. His vision transformed Empereal into one of the Middle East’s most reputable clean energy companies and advanced sustainability solutions in rapidly developing economies.

Earlier in his career, Arun held senior leadership roles at UST Global, Microsoft, Wipro, and IMC International, where he directed M&A, alliances, and operations across four continents. His strategic influence extended beyond the boardroom to policy forums; he was invited by the White House Economic Council, the Clinton Global Initiative, and EXIM Bank to contribute to global strategies in renewable energy, microfinance, and technology innovation.

Arun’s leadership philosophy is rooted in service, mentorship, and creating social impact. He has served on the boards of microfinance banks, healthcare initiatives, and academic institutions, helping shape sustainable models of growth and education. As a mentor and coach, he continues to guide emerging leaders and entrepreneurs toward purposeful success.

A graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, Arun also holds an MBA from the University of Madras and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kerala. He pursued doctoral research at IIT Madras in Natural Resource Economics and Social Business Models, underscoring his lifelong commitment to integrating business with sustainability.

Recognized globally, Arun has received honors including CXO of the Year (Fortune Magazine), Business ICON of the Year (CEO Magazine), and Top 10 Technology Innovators (MIT). Most recently, he was honored by the Government of India during its 75th Independence Day celebrations for his contributions to sustainability and innovation.
